The handle comes in 3 different types of wood and 4 different colours of resin. The stick is fibreglass, making them superb for school music directors who need something that can withstand double-duty as a music-stand percussion mallet and percussion when need to audible keep time or to drag their attention back.

As a bonus, they are also wonderfully affordable, so if you do manage to break one over a music stand or in bout of sheer frustration, a replacement isn't going to cost you an arm (it's helpful to keep your arms you're a conductor).
